An American observer comments on French politics.
All three lazy gits need to be in Strasbourg for plenary week - and only for plenary week - or they don't get paid. They're very rarely in Brussels and certainly not all three at once.
ah l'hypocrisie !!!, ca en devient fatiguant. des caresses dans le dos, des couteaux plantés et on a les memes au quotidien.
Be careful not to mix up politics - public affairs - and private life. Mélenchon himself said it a thousand times : it's not a matter of individuals. He is ruthless towards the capitalist ideology but it doesn't make him lose his politeness and friendly behaviour towards people. He's fighting IDEAS not individuals ! That's what the Republic entails, and he's a fervent republican. Our society feeds upon constant entertainment, that's why people are led to mix up the public and private spheres.
Do you see then why there's no hypocrisy whatsoever ? He knew he was filmed, and has no problem with it. In no way will he mix up the public and private spheres. That's also why he accepted right away to be filmed by François Hollande's partner and never mentioned this element of her private life, and she admired him for it in an article (you have to remember that journalist Audrey Pulvar was fired because she was Arnaud Montebourg's partner...).
