An American Defends DSK

So far, everyone I know to be a defender of the idea that DSK was brought down by some sort of international conspiracy is French. Here's an American--a former Reagan Treasury official, actually--who leaps from discrepancies in the reporting to a conspiratorial thesis. Take it for what it's worth.

Like all conspiracy theories, it hangs together in perfect logical coherence. What's the problem with it? The hypothesis is that the whole case from start to finish is a fabrication, that everything that we think plausible is false. Ok perhaps, but then this will surely be brought to light in trial. After all that is what the trial is for and DSK's got the best defense that huge money can buy. But most conspiracy theorist go one step further, the evil genius behind it all is so evil and so clever that they are predicted to likely prvail in the trial as well. This the theorist takes not as proof that he or she is wrong, bu that they are right! Now we are on the way to madness...

Paul Craig Roberts is a conspiracy theory-mongering crackpot. He's a 9/11 "truther". For me, that settles the issue. When I saw his name, I read no further.

@Arun
The whole website is full of NWO anti-Israel & 9/11 truther conspiracy theories.
Makes Art Bell and David Icke look sane.
Maybe the Bilderburgers, Illuminati, CFR, or Skull and Bones set up DSK.
