Anne Lauvergeon to Become Chair of Libé

Anne Lauvergeon, former head of Areva, forced out by Sarkozy, will become chair of the board of Libération.

Former head of Areva, AND "sherpa" for Francois Mitterrand in the beginning of the 1990s, one of the aging president's diplomatic advisors.
She featured prominently in reports to the president alongisde Jean-Louis Bianco and others (I studied some of those for information on French policy towards the baltic states circa 1990-1991). An interesting career...
