Sciences Po Management Criticized

The management of Sciences Po during the era of Richard Descoings's directorship, has been harshly criticized by the Cour des Comptes.

This article is very misleading. Yes Descoing was probably stronger on charisma than accounting. Yes, the team running Sciences Po granted themselves pretty serious rises. This said, getting full time professors requires paying them well on the international market. Two thirds of the self proclaimed elite in Paris is willing to be an adjunct professor at Sciences Po for free. No surprise that the move towards being a real academic institution generates the sort of numbers mentioned in the article. Their interpretation is completely biased though.
