An American observer comments on French politics.
The characters in this play are fictitious and any resemblance to actual persons living or dead is purely evidence of the mind's tendency to impose order...The fiction disclaimer reminds me of that awful film of yesteryear, 'The Greek Tycoon', in which Anthony Quinn, James Franciscus and Jacqueline Bisset do their best to look like 15-year-old newsreels.Gad, it sounds awful. I will stick to the operatic version of the DSK story, by Mozart. As I recall, it is called "Don Something-or-other".
