First Left Primary Debate

The first of three debates prior to the primary of the Belle Alliance Populaire will begin in less than an hour. Unfortunately, I will be on my way to the airport to catch a flight to France, so I'll be reporting on the results this weekend, time permitting.

Considering how late he joined the race, Peillon was surprisingly good (except on terrorism). Hamon stuck to his main points and developed them, providing a reasonable timeline for his universal income idea (30 years). I had trouble figuring out Montebourg. Not that he was bad, but nothing sticks out. Valls played the Hollande apologist, proud of everything his government did, even defending Déchéance de Nationalité. Plinel and De Rungy were okay, Benhamias seemed a bit out of his depth.
