New French Book Review

Readers will be interested in a new on-line book review that appears for the first time tonight. Nonfiction.fr aspires to become France's equivalent of the New York Review of Books. I play a small part in this vast undertaking as Boston correspondent and member of the "US & Canada Cluster." As the title suggests, the review is entirely devoted to nonfiction works. Check it out.

A new book review and already BHL-infested..

American Vertigo should be enough proof of BHL insignificance.

Thank you, Art, for flagging this site which I find very interesting because of its international scope. I imagine that the photo of BHL is a marketing ploy - one can ignore it.

window closed before I finished....I repeat: I imagine that the photo of BHL is a marketing ploy - one can ignore it and in addition the reviews are not favorable.

I, too, was surprised to find BHL above the fold, but let's see how the site evolves. I think the design could be better also. But as kjs says, the international focus is unusual for France.
