Sarkozy's Economic Policy

Here are the slides from my talk on Sarkozy's economic policy yesterday at Harvard. Lots of economic stats. You'll have to fill in the chatter for yourself (for help, see my subsequent post here).

Yes, it's PowerPoint. Opens for me. Anybody else having trouble?

Its Power Point for Vista, which older versions of Windows don't convert. Art, PowerPoint allows you to save the entire presentation in html (it saves each slide as a separate file in a folder and creates an index page in that same folder that serves as a table of contexts) and then you could upload the whole folder.

Anyway, thanks for posting it.

Yes, it is PowerPoint for Vista, but I can open it on an XP machine with Microsoft's OpenXML converter, available for free with the free PowerPoint Viewer for XP. If I save the file in the 2003 PowerPoint format, it's 3 times as large, but if enough people want it who don't have OpenXML converter, I'll upload that version.

I'm using a Mac. In Safari (Mac browser) it opens as gobbledegook text. In Firefox, one is prompted to save the file. All is well from there on.

Yes, that worked with the XML converter.

Forget the slides, how about posting your general conclusion ?
