It's interesting to notice how pervasive the "windmills are ugly" argument is in the line of thought France's radiance lobbyists. As if the rest of things planted in French landscapes (starting with real estate, highways, etc.) was just part of the French natural "patrimoine".

... not to mention the innate beauty of the 'centrales nucléaires' which are not so successfully hidden as some would like to think.

Plus, I personally find the wind turbines PRETTY, elongated like bird wings foerever taking flight, and when you see a row of them with their tops in the fog and just the "wings" appearing as a surprise...
