Yes, between Ségolène's affirmation that she inspired Barack's campaign and Estrosi's similar claim that Sarko influenced Americans to vote for Obama, one has difficulty in deciding who is the bigger buffoon.

Both claims initially struck me as absurd, but then I remembered the butterfly's wings and the hurricanes. Who knows? Ségo and Sarko may have played a crucial, if little noticed role in mobilising strategically vital brie-and-chardonnay voters in the swing states.
