Minc on Bayrou

Alain Minc accuses Bayrou of being an unconscious ultra of the moralist, traditionalist, Catholic Right. There must be personal animosity behind such an attack. Anybody know the source?

In his latest book, "Abus de pouvoir", Bayrou takes 5 or 6 pages to demolish Alain Minc. He mentions Minc's unethical business dealings and he reminds his readers that Minc was taken to court for plagiarism and described by the judge as a "servile plagiarist", after he copied a thesis on Spinoza.

Minc was hard on Bayrou long before "abus de pouvoir". I think it's since the presidential electiion of 2007 but can't be sure.

Yes didn't Minc come out for Sarkozy in a rather damning-for Bayrou way?
