France-America 2

Well, Gen. McChrystal may not think much of France (see previous post), but Gen. Petraeus's wife majored in French lit:

A senior at Dickinson College, Holly was fluent in French and finishing her honors dissertation on the novelist François Mauriac. It was a whirlwind romance.

What about France-America 3? No word on the Isner-Mahut match? Where is your Boston pride, Art?

One does not often see a tennis result that looks like a basketball score: 6-4 3-6 6-7 (7-9) 7-6 (7-3) 70-68.

Anyway, Mahut has given a great example to the FFF -- showing Les Bleus that French athletes can play like heroes and Domenech that they can behave with grace even in defeat.

So the General and his crew are staying in the Hotel Westminster and for his birthday they go drinking in Kitty O'Sheas - the nearest Irish bar that happens to be just around the corner

Consider however that Harry's Bar surely a much more appropriate choice for a 4 star general and his team America crew is just as close to the Westminster as Kitty O'Shea's

Maybe the ex-special forces crew were worried about having to cross a busy street at night or maybe they couldn't fing Sank Roo Dan New on the map without satellite support

Anyway very unpatriotic I think - a sacking offence in fact

Interesting coincidence. It also so happens that the only administration official to be dubbed a "clown" by Team America is also team Obama's biggest Francophile.
