A Splendid Takedown of Jacques Attali

I confess to a certain schadenfreude in reading this nice demolition job on France's expert-without-portfolio Jacques Attali. (h/t JV)

Exact opposite of Le Monde, a self avowed bar regular's blog says "it's too easy to hate on Attali"

And another point of view: Attali kills Sarkozy

+1 on the funny portnawak (en français dans le texte) of the Attali agenda, and on the conclusive sentences in the "dechiffrages" blog.

Nevertheless, the unregulated move of my polytechnicien-comrade often goes through the center of the target.

A country "en situation de faillite" (at the point of bakruptcy, so François Fillon in 2007) has no freedom at all, and esp. not the freedom of growing. Sound finances are a prerequisite in any business, including the business of governing.
